Zanin Grappa di Primitivo Riserva 50cl
Country of Origin: Italy
Alcohol Level: 38%
The Salento refers to the southernmost part of Puglia, the region that represents the boot heel of Italy. There are hardly any mountains here, but the landscape consists of plateaus and lowlands. There is a dry, hot climate with low rainfall, desert-like. The red earth and the almost African sun do the rest to give the wines character and power. The pomace for this grappa comes from the Apulian cult wine Primitivo. This and its grapes of the Primitivo di Manduria variety come from the Apulia region. The grappa itself was in wooden barrels for at least 18 months.
