The immensely popular A'Bunadh series from Aberlour has branched out with the A'Bunadh Alba collection, aged in American oak, AKA Quercus Alba. While the original series is a heavily sherried affair, this one matured entirely in American oak bourbon barrels, allowing fresh notes of orchard fruits, toasted nuts, and shortbread to shine.
