Grown over 650m above sea level, this ruby red Aglianico has an intense woody aromas with hints of liquorice and leather. The palate is dry, harmonious and velvety with notes of black fruit, smoke, leather and a little coffee. It is full-bodied with firm tannins and high acidity, showing its good aging potential. Great when paired with soups and meat broths, roasted or stewed red and white meats, or hard aromatic cheese.
