Chateau Coutelin-Merville Saint Estephe 75cl
Grape: Merlot (50%), Cabernet-sauvignon (25%), Cabernet franc (22%), Petit verdot (3%).
Situated on the border of Saint-Estèphe and Cissac, the vineyards benefit from gravelly soils over a limestone base, providing excellent drainage and contributing to the wine's complexity. The maritime climate of the Médoc region, with its moderated temperatures, allows for optimal ripening of the grapes.
Appearance:
Deep garnet red, indicating its concentration and potential for aging.
Nose:
Aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrants are complemented by notes of espresso, sweet spices, and a touch of cedar.
Palate:
Concentrated and intense, the palate reveals flavors of dark fig, tobacco, and chocolate, supported by firm tannins that provide structure. The wine maintains composure and balance, with a decent length on the finish.
